Founded in 1988, Walker Kontos has grown to comprise 7 partners, 6 associates and over 30 support staff. The firm's focus lies in corporate and commercial law in Kenya and the region with particular emphasis in banking and securitisation, project and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and conveyancing and property law. In addition, the firm has built up a substantial practice in commercial litigation as well as corporate and debt recovery.

Our clients include the largest retail and commercial banks in the region, development finance institutions, insurance companies, government, one of two mobile telephone operators in Kenya, commodity traders, multinationals, manufacturers, farmers, property developers, foreign embassies, missions and ngo's. Important to us also are our private clients who have been an integral part of the growth of our firm.
