Greg has built a sterling reputation over the past two decades as a skilled resolver of disputes and litigator across various industries. His approach consistently yields efficient and robust resolutions, often surpassing clients' expectations.

He possesses a unique talent for achieving settlements, even in situations where clients initially deemed it improbable. Additionally, Greg has secured favorable judgments for clients, exceeding their anticipated outcomes.

His expertise spans disputes that traverse both Kenyan and Ugandan jurisdictions.

Notably, Greg stands out as the sole Kenyan citizen registered as an Arbitrator with the Shanghai International Arbitration Center ("SHIAC"), also known as the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission.

Highlighted successes include:

Cross-border Regional Trade – Kenya/Uganda/Rwanda: Greg represented Mugenga Holdings Limited, successfully procuring a substantial compensation from the Kenyan Government. This followed the company's loss of trucks and goods within Kenya during cross-border transportation. His argument underscored the government's failure to provide adequate security, breaching provisions within the East African Community Treaty.

Mining and Investment – Kenya/India/United Kingdom/United States: Greg adeptly defended Tata Chemicals against a significant land tax claim by Kenya's Kajiado County Government. His argument emphasized the lack of jurisdiction for County Governments to levy land rates taxes on land containing minerals.

Banking and Investment – Kenya/Mauritius: In a distinctive case involving SBM Bank and Afrasia Bank, both headquartered in Mauritius but litigating under Kenyan law, Greg represented SBM Bank. He successfully argued that SBM Bank, acquiring majority assets from the collapsed Chase Bank Kenya Limited, wasn't bound by provisions of the Transfer of Business Act. The arbitration ruled in favor of SBM Bank.

Real Estate and Insolvency – Kenya/United States: Greg navigated complexities involving Cytonn Investments, securing a favorable outcome for SBM Bank Kenya. He effectively disentangled the Alma project from Cytonn's overall assets, enabling SBM Bank to exercise recovery powers specifically over the Alma project.

Greg's track record underscores his ability to adeptly maneuver through intricate legal landscapes spanning international borders and diverse industries. His consistent delivery of favorable resolutions showcases his exceptional skills in achieving optimal outcomes for his clients.
